What is the difference between double matte (double side) and single matte (single side) film? Both types of film have one printing surface. Double matte film is just single matte film with an additional underside coating which improves feeding and warping.
What is the difference between hot peel and warm/cold peel film? Hot peel film can be peeled almost instantly after your DTF transfer has been pressed onto the garment. Usually within 5 seconds or so. Warm peel film takes slightly longer, usually around 20 seconds. Cold peel film needs to be completely cool before peeling.
What are the suggested temperatures and application instructions? Both types of film that we sell can be cured and pressed at 150C (300F). We suggest 2 presses for optimal results. 1st press for 15 seconds of medium/high pressure. Peel the film with a rolling motion. Press again for an additional 10 seconds with a sheet of parchment or heat press paper on top of your design. The second press makes your transfer feel softer.
